Chapter 2

After the grand birthday party celebration was over, the Harris family returned to their mansion in Royal Haven Estate alongside Sean.

When they reach their mansion, Henry steps out of the car and orders Sean to bring out all the gifts from Miss Rose's car with a serious and strong instruction to Sean that none of the gifts should miss

Sean didn't reply to any of his words, but looked at him quietly and, without a word, turned and walked towards the car. His silence wasn't out of fear-it was exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion, after enduring countless insults from Henry throughout the day. He was too numb to respond.

Henry frowned, puzzled by Sean's silence, and this made Henry question himself if he was truly talking to Sean because at least Sean would have tried to explain himself or mutter a word in return. But today was different, he said nothing and just obeyed, like a servant.

And without wasting time, Sean began offloading the gifts one after the other, which included boxes, bags and wrapped items.

After offloading everything, Sean took everything one after the other to Miss Rose's room. Although it was not easy work for him, he had to do it to avoid being insulted again, either by Henry or Miss Rose.

Sean was so exhausted that he decided to take a rest, at least to hold his breath, but before he could breathe in and out

Bang! bang! Bang!

A three resounding slap landed on his back, which made him jerk up and turn around to see who was slapping him and to his surprise, it was Miss Rose, and this made Sean's heart boil in anger

“What are you doing?” Asked Miss Rose

But Sean didn't respond not because he didn't know what to say, but because he was not in the right state of mind at the moment.

He was just quiet and looking at her in silence, and also keeping his calm at the same time, and that alone made Miss Rose furious.

“You worthless bastard, who do you think you are?”

“I don't blame you anywhere; I blame Emily for getting married to a poor loser like you. You are good for nothing, son-in-law, have never benefited anything from you ever since you got married to my daughter. Are you sure that you have anything to offer in life?”

“Your mates are CEO, MANAGER and DIRECTOR in companies, but here you are, lazing about, doing nothing.”

Those words cut through Sean's heart like a blade but yet still, he says nothing.

When Miss Rose saw that all her insults seemed to be of no effect toward Sean, she silently worked away from him, but before disappearing from his side, she ordered Sean to make sure that she sees all her gifts in her room in the next thirty minutes before walking away from his side.

Sean sighed in relief and continued taking the gift to Miss Rose's room. And within thirty minutes, he was done with the work.

And after that, he decided to go to the bathroom to take his bath and have a rest, but as he was passing by, he heard his wife Emily talking to someone on a phone call. Her voice was a little bit above a whispering voice.

At first Sean didn't want to pay attention to her conversation because he was feeling heat and sweating profusely at the same time; he needed to take a quick bath, but just when he was about to pass, he overheard his wife Emily saying

“Don't worry my love, I'm going to be yours soon, and besides, I am coming over to your house tonight to spend some time with you.

Sean was shocked at what he was hearing from his wife, but he decided to compose himself and wait till the end of the conversation.

And in response, the other caller asks Emily, “What if your husband finds out that you have been cheating on him?”

Emily didn't seem to bother too much that her husband Sean was going to find out, but her response to the caller melted and shattered Sean's heart

“Don't worry, I know how to handle that, and to be honest with you, I regret marrying him as my husband. How I wish I had met you first. I wouldn't have married that good-for-nothing loser.”

Emily was so carried away by their conversation that she was unaware that her phone was on a loudspeaker, and Sean was outside listening to their conversation.

Sean was heartbroken and at the same time feeling rage and anger that he couldn't control himself anymore, he stormed into the room.

Emily was so shocked and afraid at that point that she almost screamed because of the way Sean stormed inside the room, so she had to end the call.

Inside the room, Sean confronts Emily, demanding to know what was going on between the caller and her, but Emily seems not to open up

But Sean wasn't ready to back down until he knew what was going on. He tried collecting the phone from Emily, but his wife persisted.

But with too much force and struggles, he overpowered her and collected the phone from her. He quickly unlocked the phone because he had the password and went through her phone contacts

That was when he saw it, a contact saved as HARRY GREY MY LOVE. But Sean didn't stop there, he went ahead and checked her w******p.

That was when he saw everything, the chat, and a nude photo of her and Harry Grey. The phone almost fell out of his hands because his hands were continuously shaking.

At the very moment, Sean was like a wounded lion roaring in pain and anger, demanding to know who is HARRY GREY.
