Lina was summoned at dusk. She stood in the doorway of Selene's chambers, her hands clasped in front of her. The room was warm, a fire crackled in the hearth, and candles flickered on every surface. Selene sat at her dressing table, her silver brush moving through her blonde hair in long, slow strokes. "You sent for me, Luna." "I did." Selene set down the brush and turned. Her smile was pleasant. Practiced. "I have a task for you. Something simple." Lina waited. "The patrols on the southern border need supplies. Food, blankets and medicine kits.
