Chloe watched Madeline enter the house.
Instead of getting out of the car, she opened the home security feed on her phone to see what was going on.
The doorbell rang.
Linda went to the entryway and opened the door.
"Hi. I'm here to take Colton home," Madeline said gently.
Linda froze.
She only knew that Colton was supposedly a child Wesley and Chloe had adopted. She had no idea Madeline would show up at the house, much less that Madeline was the boy's biological mother.
On the security feed, Chloe watched Colton drop his toy and happily run toward Madeline.
She scoffed.
