Chapter 3 - The Little Argument

“Good Morning Class, I’m your Homeroom Teacher for this School Year. My name is Joel Bougainvillea. Let’s start the class by introducing yourselves so that you can be familiar with each other. Let’s start from the left side of the front row. Please…” Instruct by Teacher Joel to his students with a smile on his face.

“My Name is Mark Garcia, 17 years old. I like playing Basketball. Thank you.”

“My Name is…”

The students in the front row simply introduce their selves for a short time before Christine’s turn.

“Christine Fritillaria, 17 years old.” Simply said by Christine before she sat down in her chair.

“Good Morning, Classmates. My Name is Daniel Aster. I’m currently 17 years old. I like to do things like Drawing, Writing different stories and songs, and others. I also like to play basketball and swimming. Please take care of me in the future. Thank you.” Daniel introduces himself in a very simple but polite manner. Teacher Joel nods his head with satisfaction while the students of First Class-Second Year had different discussions between themselves.

“Oh my… He’s cute and handsome…” Opinions of mostly girls of the class, while the guy's opinion is “His very cool and mature.”

Hannah suddenly felt proud listening to the praises of her classmates to Daniel. “Huh! That’s my Daniel! He’s very cool, handsome, and simply cute! Nothing beats him!” Hannah became very smug to herself and she didn’t realize that because of how Daniel introduce himself in the class, she got herself many love rivals who want Daniel's attention, including the boys.

“Hello, guys!! HAHA!!! My name is Kate Chrysanthemum. I’m 17 years old and I very like to spend my time with my two best friends! Let’s become friends!” Energetically Kate introduces herself.

“OH! Seems like our class is very lucky. Ms. Kate Chrysanthemum is also part of “The Three Flowers”. Two of “The Three Flowers” are in our class. Hehe.” Nod by Teacher Joel while teasing his students who are cheering about their class incredible luck.

One by one the students introduce themselves. Some simply introduced themselves like Daniel or introduced themselves like the energetic Kate.

Finally, the last student to introduce herself is Hannah.

“Good Morning, Everyone. My name is Hannah Felicia. I’m 17 years old. I don’t have many hobbies but I like to spend time with my best friends. Please take care of me in the future. Thank you.” Hannah introduces herself with a sweet smile on her face before she sat down in her chair.

The classroom became silent after Hannah introduce herself. Hannah lifts her head in confusion about why the whole class is silent. She saw that all of her classmates including Daniel was looking at her with different expressions. Her classmates were stunned, dumbfounded, stiffened, and other violent reactions because of her smile that looks like a flower that blooms with happiness.

“Clap… Clap… Clap… Our class luck can reach the heavens. “The Three Flowers” can be found in our classroom. Right now I’m perfectly sure that after this news spreads in our Academy, the other boys of other classes will be very jealous of you, especially in the boys. All right, Good Job for introducing yourselves to each and other. I hope our class will be harmonious in the future. Official Classes will start tomorrow. Class Dismiss.” Teacher Joel fixes his things before going out of the classroom.

After Teacher Joel left, the classroom became noisy. Some students choose to leave and others choose to talk to their new classmates.

Christine and Kate, both of them with a sly smile on their faces slowly approach Hannah who’s fixing her hair and acts like she doesn’t know that both of them are approaching.

“Hanaaahhh… Care to tell what happened earlier to the both of your best friends?” Kate teases Hannah with her chin resting on Hannah’s desk.

“Hmm… What happened Hannah? Tell me.” Ordered by Christine.

“Huh? Wha… What do… do you guys mean? I don’t understand?” Hannah stuttered avoiding the gazes of her best friends.

Hannah tried to calm herself down but despite how hard she tried to calm down, she can’t calm down because of the two hot probing gazes of her best friends that are locked unto her. She takes a deep breath and faces the two of them with a bright red face.

“Daniel… he… he said that I have bed hair,” Hannah said in low voice like a flying mosquito while pointing to the spot in her forehead where the strand of her hair laid before. After answering her best-friends probing gazes, Hannah lowers her red face due to embarrassment.

A long time had passed. Hannah realizes that her best friends didn’t react. She was puzzled and looked up. Only to see that both of her best-friend were trying their best to stop their laughter.

“Pfft… HAHAHA!!! Is that it? Oh my God! I can’t stand the cheesiness! HAHA!!” Kate was laughing hard that which made her cry while Christine is laughing only in a small voice.

“You… You guys!! Ah!! Don’t look at me! I want to dive in a hole! Leave me alone!” Hurriedly said by Hannah due to the extreme embarrassment she feeling while listening to her best-friends laughter.

“Okay… Okay… We’ll stop laughing. Cough… seriously Hannah? That’s it? I think he likes you too. I can assure you that. Just straight confess to him.” Kate’s advice to Hannah.

“Hannah, while looking at the two of you being with each other, I thought the two of you have a relationship already. Why not just confess to him? You like Daniel for almost two years already. Your love rivals continue to grow in numbers. Why not strike while the rod is hot?” Christine’s said to Hannah who suddenly went silent after listening to Kate’s and Christine’s advice.

“I… I’m not ready yet… I’m not ready to confess to him yet. I need more time. The two of us are not yet close enough to have a relationship, and I think that the two of us are still young…” Argue by Hannah to her best-friends advice.

“What if someone confesses to him and he accepts it. What will you do? You’ll regret it if you didn’t confess to him in the near future.” Sternly said, Christine.

Hannah suddenly stiffened after listening to Christine’s question. Imagining that Daniel became the boyfriend of some other girl, her heart seems like slice by a knife. Her eyes slowly turn red and she started to cry while furiously shook her head to forget these things. She looked at the nearby Christine with a wave of slight anger in her eyes.

Realizing that her question crosses the line and seeing the slight anger in her best friend's red eyes, Christine became panicked and hurried approached Hannah.

“I’m sorry, Hannah. It’s not like that. No one can snatch Daniel from you. I’ll personally shut them up. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Just don’t cry. I didn’t mean it.” Christine hurriedly apologizes and holds Hannah’s hands while biting her bottom lip because of extreme guilt and regretting what she just asked.

Kate who was watching by the side sighed and approach the two of them and pat both of their heads with a smile on her face.

“All right, Hannah stops crying now, you look ugly when you cry. Christine stops biting your lip, it will leave a scar.” Sternly said Kate to her best friends.

“I’m sorry, Hannah. I just got impatient with the relationship between you and Daniel. I’m sorry for crossing the line.” Christine using her voice to became softer than usual to sincerely apologize to Hannah.

Hannah was silent for a moment before she shook her head in softly.

“No… I was the wrong one. I’m sorry, Christine. Your right. Maybe I’ll regret it if I didn’t confess to him in the near future. I just need more time to get closer to Daniel before I confess.” Softly said by Hannah who slowly hugs Christine. The two of them hugged each other accepting each and other faults.

“Hahaha! Scolding the two of you is somehow great for these feelings of mine! How about you guys always argue and I’ll scold the two of you always? So that I can take revenge for those days where the two of you always scold me? How about that?” Asked by Kate who is very happy imagining scolding her best-friends always.

“Shut up!!” Yell at the same time by Christine and Hannah.

Kate who was imagining things froze after being scolded again by Christine and Hannah.

“The two of you are scolding me again!! I hate the two of you!!!” Kate throwing a tantrum causing her hair to sway left and right.

“Hahaha!!” Christine and Hannah started to laugh because of Kate who’s throwing a tantrum at them.

“HAHAHA!!!” Kate also laughs seeing both of her best friends already made peace.

While the three of them were in their own world, their classmate was confused about what’s happening between the three of them.

“Huh? Are “The Three Flowers” fighting with each other?” Asked one of Hannah’s classmates.

“I think the three of them are arguing with something and it made Hannah cry.” Answered by one of their classmates who’s sitting nearby Hannah.

“What are they arguing for that it made my Hannah cry?” Asked by a chubby boy student.

“You’re Hannah? In your dreams. Hannah won’t be yours in this lifetime. HAHA” Teased by the other.

While the other students of First Class-Second Year were debating why “The Three Flowers” is arguing that it made one of them cry, Daniel who was already near the door abruptly stop after he overheard the debates between his classmates. He looks back and saw Hannah and Christine holding each other’s hand while watching Kate who’s throwing tantrum in front of them. Daniel stops and looks at “The Three Flowers” for a second before leaving the room.
