JACE The pounding in my head started before I even opened my eyes. It was a sharp, throbbing pain that spread from my head to my temples. I groaned and turned over on the bed only for my arm to brush against a warm skin that definitely wasn’t mine. My eyes snapped open as I stared at the bare skin staring back at me, memories of the night before hitting me all at once—loud music, flashing lights, gulps after gulps of alcohol rushing down my throat, bodies pressed too close, hands that didn’t belong roaming my body and lingering where they shouldn’t.
