What happened? You two look so dull.

“Nothing that big" replies walid.

“Nothing that big? What do you mean by that? We literally got threatened by someone, threatened to get killed." Says bappi.

Detective tihsan: Calm down, just sit and drink some of that.

Detective juton: Sheesh, these kids are so good. I like them so much, I wish I had kids like them back in my last case. I lacked support from the village people and almost got killed by the bandits. What a terrifying adventure, sure you kids would love to hear about it!

Bappi: Not interested, we have much more important things to talk about.

Detective juton: Huh…i take my words back.

Detective tihsan: Let us hear what the recorded has recorded.

The two detectives starts listening to the recorder-

Everything plays-

Detective tihsan : This guy sounded way too pissed, the question definitely triggered him to act like that. That is definitely very suspicious.

Detective juton: Yeah, how is he suppose to defend against something like this? He is a teacher and he is behaving like that in front of a kid?

Hey you two, earlier you said you guys were threatened. What happened?

Detective tihsan: I was saving this for later, yea. What happened?

Walid: You say it, bappi.

Bappi: We were leaving the school and teacher sakib suddenly called us from behind. He told us that he was sorry for what happened and would never do it. Then we told him that we have some things to do and we should leave, and then…

He told us to be careful on the way, he told us about the incidents which have been happening. He was saying it in a terrifying tone, even smiled a bit while saying them. At last, he told us to be careful and not get killed on the roads.

Detective tihsan: Heh…Hahaha, so he indirectly threatened you?

Detective juton: Yeah, I usually threaten people like that too. He definitely is involved with the missing students case.

Detective tihsan: He might even be one of the high members of the organization.

In another part of the country, a village:

A jar gets broken-

“What are you doing? What has gotten into you?" Says a man in a deep tone.

“I am sorry father, it won't happen again."

“Sorry? You do know what punishment you deserve for doing that?"

“ Get in thee basement, i will be there in a minute."

In the basement -

The girl keeps screaming, her hearts speed is rising up.

The pain is slowly taking over.

She gets tormented and left out after a minutes.

“Get yourself clean, look at ya. You look pathetic."

Father leaves-

The girl starts singing -

Starts crying.

Tears starts coming down from her eyes, as she starts asking God,

“Why God, of dear God. Why did you have to take my mom away? She was the only one who saved me, she was the only one who looked after me. Why? Why God? Why couldn't you take father instead?"

As she was crying and wishing her father to die, some other maids sees her and approaches her.

“Lady onni, you should not be saying that loudly. If your father hears, he would hurt you more. Here, come with me. I will treat you." The maid says to onni.

Onni keeps dropping more and more tears, until she didn't have any to drop.

Onni thanks the maid for helping her out as much as she can.

Onni never had a normal life, she had to see her father beating up her mother every once in a while. Her father is a terrible person, he is involved with a big criminal organization. He is also a member of the “Devour" human flesh eating organization.

Whenever he has a bad time, he beats up his wife. At a point of time, his wife does due to severe illness. After his wife died, he set his eyes on onni.

In the beginning, he used to only scold her. But things started to get worse as day went by. Talks turned into strikes, slangs turned into sticks.

The father started to abuse onni every once in a while. She wanted to run away, but they lived in a village. She did not have anyone to trust. If her father catches her, she would be in a horrible position.

She has no other choice but to endure all the sufferings.

When someone from outside visits their house, her father behaves very well to her. Sometimes, even police from the station visits their house. She is normally forced to hide when it happens, if others see her in such a bad condition. They would question the father immediately.

But sometimes when her condition is well, she is allowed to talk with others. Of course she is very scared of her father, which is why she does not try to reveal the truth.

It is not like she never tried to do it.

There was indeed a time when she tried to leave a hand written message on one of the guest. It turned out that, it was a trap created by her father. She messed up and got caught.

She was horribly beaten back then. Ever after that, she has never trusted anyone.

It has been 2 years since then.

Back to the city:

It has been weeks since the meeting was held between walid, bappi, detective juton and detective tihsan.

They have tried their best to find enough evidence to prove teacher sakib guilty. But no matter how hard they have tried, they were not able to get anything.

I am walid hasan, I am in class 7 at the moment.

For the past few weeks, we are trying our best to catch teacher sakib. At this point, we are damn sure he is one of the culprits. We also believe that he knows about us investigating him. Which is why he is so defensive. He does not even behave rudely with others.

We have started to lose hope, except detective tihsan.

“Maybe he is not the culprit and we are over thinking?" We thought.

Detective juton is slowly losing his cool, he decides to confront him directly. It was another plan.

The entire police department has lost their faith on the detectives at this point, not that it matters. They were private detectives, who were given money by clients anyways. So the two have not left the case yet, not before catching at least one of the culprits.

One day, the two detectives decided to meet teacher sakib face to face. Detective juton disguised himself as an ordinary citizen and got in contact with him. Juton wanted teacher sakib to try and abduct him. If teacher sakib really was a culprit and worked for the organization, he would definitely try killing him.

Detective tihsan was told to stay behind and watch. He was tasked to protect detective juton, in case he is not able to protect himself.

Both of them carried a handgun.

Teacher sakib used to be an psychiatric before he left the job and joined the school. Nobody knows why he left that job to become a teacher. Most of the people thought it was his passion.

Even after becoming a teacher, he appointed private meetings. He has a sss page where he tells people to call him if they need any kind of help.

Detective juton took this chance and messaged him on his f*******: page. Telling him that he wants to die, he is having trouble living. He is having depression for a long time now.

Juton wanted to meet teacher sakib, for them to have an conversation.

Teacher sakib seemed to have believed detective juton, who is using a fake name at the moment.

The two appoints a meeting, two days later they meets one another at a restaurant.

Detective tihsan is staying behind and watching the entire situation from behind.

Detective juton enters the restaurant and sees teacher sakib sitting in one of the tables already.

“Hello, so you are sakib? I am dharmesh, nice to meet you."

The two starts having conversation with one another. The more they are talking, the more weirder sakib is getting.

Detective juton can feel sakib trying to manipulate him, into thinking that dying is alright. He is not trying to change his mind at all.

After having a conversation of half an hour, they decides to leave the restaurant and go for a walk.

Detective tihsan sees them leaving the restaurant and starts following them from behind.

Sakib tells juton that we should not worry about anything on this world, this world is rotten and doesn't deserve our attention.

Both crosses the main road and starts walking down the dark ally.

Detective tihsan is also walking behind them.

Detective juton in his mind: Do it, make the first move. I need evidence to lock you up, even if I die. I will get you under arrest, I have lived long enough anyway. You ain't getting away from detective tihsan.

Sakib keeps taking to juton, who he thinks is a depressed client called dharmesh.

You tried killing yourself multiple times, haven't you dharmesh?

Why do you think you could not kill yourself? Is it because you loved your life?

No dear dharmesh, you could not kill yourself because you couldn't do it by yourself. But do not worry my brother…

Detective tihsan sees sakib slowly pulling something out of the pocket and rushes in front of him.

Sakib sees detective tihsan running towards their way and pulls out the gun. He gets shocked and shoots detective juton in his chest.

Detective tihsan Dodges one of the bullet and shoots sakib on one of the hands. Sakib drops the gun and starts running.

Detective tihsan rushes in front of detective juton and sees him in and condition. Tihsan tells him,

“You will be fine buddy, I will be back after dealing with him."

Cough

Cough

Detective juton replies,

“Hehe, you called me buddy."

Sakib runs out of the dark ally and runs side by side with the outside lake.

“How far will you go? Stop before you die by draining too much blood." Says tihsan.

Detective tihsan doesn't waste time this time, he rushes in front of sakib and kicks him from behind.

Sakib falls on the ground but… Right before tihsan could strangle him.

Tihsan has been stabbed into his belly, sakib has brought out a small sharp knife which he was hiding.

Ahahaahaha, how do you like that? You stupid bastards, how dare you attack me like this?

Tihsan gets mad and screams out loud.

With all his remaining power, he punches sakib and knocks him out.
