“Hayden..” I saw Elena came in my study.
“Elena? Why are you here? H-how?” I was surprised and amazed by her beauty at the same time. Holy Moon Gooddess! I missed her so much.
“Hayden, do you hate me? Why are you avoiding me?” she looked sad and depressed. Then she took a step closer to me. I stood from my chair behind the desk.
“No, I don’t hate you. Never.”
“Then why are you avoiding me?”
“It’s just …” I stare down. I couldn’t explain my reason to her. I couldn’t hurt her more.
“Hayden..” Suddenly she was a few inches in front of me. “It’s okay. If you couldn’t tell me the reason. Can we start anything we haven’t even started yet? Please? Hayden, do you know how much I miss you?” Her hand ran on my chest.
“Elena..”
“Ssshhh….” She put her finger on my lips.
“I love you, Hayden.” Then her lips met mine and I kissed her back without hesitation. But it felt different.
“Hayden..” She moaned. Wait whose voice was it? It was not Elena’s.
“Bella?! W-wait! What are you doing?” I flinched and pushed her away. It was just a dream? She’s not Elena!
“Hayden I’m sorry. I just miss you so much and feel so excited knowing that you visit my pack.”
“But you can’t just kiss me!” I growled.
“I can’t hold back I’m sorry. When I came in, I saw you sleep on the couch. You looked so tired. I just want to touch your chest to comfort you, but I carried away and feel like kissing you, sorry.”
“Bella.. I think I should clarify our boundaries.”
“What do you mean?”
“Bella, I’m sorry, but you are a sister to me, no more.”
“Hayden, no! Stop!” She covered her ears.
“I know you have a feeling for me. But I thought you would get the hint when I avoided you all this time.”
“Then why do you come here?! Doesn’t it to meet me?!” She demanded.
“Bella, look! You brother and I are best friend, I can’t help but stop by when I am around. And I thought you had let go your feelings after years. Besides, I have a business with your brother.”
“You.. you… why Hayden?.” Her tears were running down her cheeks. “Why can’t you accept me? Why can’t you see me as a woman? Why Hayden? Why? Why? Why?!!!” She hit my chest while crying. “Is it because your mate?” She looked up at me and stared me with those red eyes.
“What?”
“She couldn’t handle your rejection after those years, right?”
“What are you talking about?”
“I know that night, 4 years ago, you met your mate and rejected her. But yesterday you finally visited your pack in human realm, you met her, and she still couldn’t lose you. If… if … if only she could, you would come here just to meet me, right? You just felt guilty to her. I know..”
“Bella! You don’t know what you’re talking about!! And no! I have never rejected her! She’s my only love in this life! Bella, I think you should go out from this room before I lose my mind, because I can’t stand anyone disrespect my mate!”
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. “Hayden, It’s me!”
“Come in Michael!” I said.
“Hayden, I have.. Bella? What are doing here? And why are you crying?” Bella hid her face from her brother.
“Mike I’m sorry, but could you take Bella out of this room?”
“Sure. Bella, come on.” He grabbed Bella’s shoulders and led her out. “Oh wait, I just want to inform you that I found the witch that you are looking for.”
“Ah, thank you. I will come to see you at dinner to discuss it.”
“Alright, see you then. Come on, Bella. You should explain what happened to me” Michael whispered to Bella through his gritted teeth while I still could hear it. Michael still had his hands on Bella and led her went out from the room. Finally, they were out. Oh God What have I done! I covered my face with my hands then run them to my hair.

After my encounter with Elena’s daughter yesterday, I decided to go back to the supranatural world, where my pack was. Yes, I still had my land here before finally moving the pack to human realm. The land here was used as a stopover for other supranatural creature when they stop by in the werewolf realm considering its strategic location. The packland was more like a downtown now, there were many malls, hotels, restaurants etc. I have my own building, which was like a packhouse, but it was not. Because the real packhouse was moved to the human realm. And the old packhouse in this land has turned into a museum. I couldn’t live there anymore. No, with those memories left in every inch of the building and area.
As for the past 4 years I had lived here on the supranatual world, from that night that I’d decided to run away like a coward. Things I left in the human realm, I leave them to Danny, and I lived here with my third in command ,Christ, since then. But yesterday, the board demanded to meet me. So, I decided to go while checking my pack there. But God. I even met the one I had been avoiding. And here I was now, after going back to supranatural realm, visitted my best friend, Alpha Michael’s pack to search the information about the witch that could help me protect the girl. Yes, I didn’t like children, but it didn’t mean I didn’t care about their safety. I was not that ruthless. Besides, Elena was going to be crazy if she lost her. I couldn't take it.
“Good evening, Hayden.” Michael greeted me when I came to join the dinner.
“Good evening, Mike.”
“I’m so sorry about Bella. She told me everything.”
“It’s okay. I forgive her already.”
“Thank you. You know she sometimes act without thinking. And about her feelings. I have been warned her for years that you see her as a sister and no more, but she doesn’t want to listen to me.”
“No, don’t feel guilty about it. It’s my fault. I know her personality, I should clarify our boundaries from the beginning, not avoiding her like I did. But is she okay? She doesn’t come for dinner.”
"She's okay, I made her stay in her room to reflect her act."
"Okay.. about the witch, you found her?"
"Yes, my beta informs me that she is in the black mount. Why do you need her? If it to cast a protection spell on someone, our witch pack could do it for you."
"Nah, if it were that easy, I would ask my witch pack too. But this girl. She was almost kidnapped in front of my eyes."
"Girl?"
"Yes, I couldn't explain who she is now, but I need her to be safe all the time. You know, the kidnapper is a vampire."
