An Act

Third Person POV

"What the hell is going on here?", Sam's voice boomed from behind Julie and Brian.

They both instantly got tensed as they were scared and thought that Julies family wont like their relationship but the truth was far from it if they both would have in a relationship her family would have been extremely happy because for them Brian was another son.

"No nothing is happening here. What would be happening here Sam?", Julie said stuttering because she was afraid and didn't knew if he saw them kissing or not or if he heard the love confession.

While on the other side Sam was having fun although he was quiet disgusted when he saw his best friend and sister kissing but he was extremely happy and he wanted to punish them for hiding that's why he was pulling their legs and as well as he wanted to test Brian his own best friend to make sure that he would protect his sister even though she doesn't need protection from her own family. While Sierra was a silent spectator as she was didn't knew what to do and didn't wanted to interfere in their family matters but she was ready to interfere if things got out of their own hands.

"NOTHING what do you mean by nothing? I saw you both kissing right now and I even heard you both saying I love you to each other and you are telling me that nothing is going on here", Sam's loud voice was probably heard in every corner of the house as their parents and Benji also came to the kitchen in hurry by now everyone was in the kitchen and were quietly observing everything.

"Sam please calm down listen to me please", Julie said as she was thinking that Sam was seriously angry at them. Watching his own sister afraid of was another sight for him as till now no matter what happened Julie was never afraid of him instead she would give him tough competition and never back down.

"Julie before I loose my cool EXPLAIN", Sam said taking deep breaths only to make them believe that he was indeed angry while Brian was just being a statue as he didn't knew what is happening around him he couldn't formulate anything right now seeing his this state Julie decided to take the responsibility of explaining to everyone.

"I have always had a crush on him that's why I would always bicker with him so that at least in that way he would talk to me and not ignore me and treat me as only your sister but then something happened", Julie murmured the last part but non the less Sam heard it clear and before Julie could skip the part Sam asked her.

"What happened?", Sam asked curiously he was not able to hide his curiosity.

"On the night when we took Sierra to a club I got slightly I promise tiny bit drunk that when I was dancing I didn't realized that there was some guy who was trying to touch but then what I remembered next was Brian has punched that guy square on the jaw and and he", Julie wasn't able to continue but her stop just made Sam more interested to know.

"He what?", Sam asked his impatience was visible in his tone.

"He kissed me that's when I came back to my senses completely and then we were with you to find Sierra", When Julie said this a blush crept up her cheeks when she heard a throat clearing she saw Sam that broke her out of her reminiscing of their first kiss.

"From then we are in a relationship I didn't knew what you all would think and I was scared that you all will not accept our relationship that's why we kept it a secret please don't separate us", Julie almost begged but Sam wanted to teach them a lesson that's why took a hold of Julies wrist and started to drag her to her room.

"You are going to stay in this room now and Brian don't even show your face to me or keep a foot in this house again", Sam said blankly as he started to drag Julie while she was pleading him and others Sierra was going to interfere and not let Sam man handle Julie but before she could interfere Julies pleadings broke Brian out of his shock and he punched Sam and hid Julie behind him.

"Stay away from her she is mine", came Brian's booming voice while Sam steadied his footings as Brian landed a very strong punch.

"She is my sister understood leave form here", Sam said as he tried to reach for Julies hand again but Brian pushed him back.

"She might be your sister but I wont let you man handle her she is mine and if you want me to leave I will just don't punish her I don't want her to suffer", Said Brian his voice spoke defiance first but later his voice became barely a whisper.

As soon as Brian spoke that Sam couldn't control his laughter and burst out laughing both of them were looking at him confused as he was looking like a mad to both of them while others were just smiling as they knew from the start that he was acting because they all knew that Sam would be very much happy if they both landed together while Sierra was equally confused by their reactions.

"Oh you both are hilarious he is looking like he would almost cry. How could you both even think that I wont be happy with you both being together", Sam said while looking at both of them.

"Wait you are not angry at us then why were you shouting at us?", Brian asked suddenly as he started realizing that Sam was laughing at them.

"Because you both thought that we would not be happy with you two being together instead I would be more then happy to know that my sister is with my best friend whom I know would take care of my sister so I wanted to teach you both a lesson it was all an act", said Sam.

"But let me warn you right now Brian stay in your limits don't cross any boundary with my sister understood?", Sam said in a calm tone which send shivers down their spine while Brian vigorously nodded.

"Good if your act has ended now Sam lets talk about the party", Anna said smiling.

"What party?", asked Sierra suddenly gaining everyone's attention Sam almost awed as he saw how innocently she looked at them and was demanding an answer.

"Its our birthday party it is after two weeks", Julie answered suddenly excited.

Everyone went to the living except Sam and Sierra was the last one to leave but when she was near the couches where everyone was sitting Sam whispered something in her ear and brushed past her and sat with Brian while Sierra stood there with her cheeks turning pink.

"Don't worry Sierra no one here would object the idea of us being together too instead they would be happy to know that I will take care of you", Sam whispered in her ear and left.

"What happened Sierra come sit?", said Julie as she saw Sierra frozen at a place and listening to Julie broke her out of her trance.

While they were discussing about things for the party and its theme Sierra kept on thinking what Sam said.

She thought that he was right that her dad would be happy to know that she is with someone with someone he knows for a long time and even she kind of likes Sam but she was afraid and kept on thinking that day.
