Sam POV 

"I like your daughter a lot uncle", I told him calmly I looked up to see his reaction but there was nothing.

"uh huh", uncle said raising a eye brow at me and I knew that it is a cue for me to continue I nodded my head and gave him a small smile.

"Uncle when first you told us about Sierra I was kind of curious that how a small girl made you so protective of her that for her safety you didn't even tell us about her and when I saw her for the first time I knew instantly why you were so protective over her she had this innocence in her eyes and her features just made her more unique and then at first sight I had this feeling in my heart that wanted me to protect her, care for her, be there for her, to hold her, to sooth her when she cries, make her smile just that feeling in my heart was making me to want to do all these things. You told us that something has happened with her in childhood that left her traumatized but her behavior towards us towards everyone just stunned me that even with a trauma she handled herself very well she didn't isolate herself and it showed how much strong she is. Her strength just made me mesmerized", I said all those things which I felt for her from the start from when I heard about her till I met her.

"Uncle you know right I am not a playboy I was waiting for my one and only I just want to be with her uncle please don't take me wrong I just want to be there for her the emotions I feel when I am with her is too strong please uncle I just want your permission to pursue her uncle I promise I will protect her with my life, I will keep her happy, I will take care of her, she will feel all the love of this world, I will always be there for her, to support her, to console her, to comfort her uncle please please I beg you", I poured out all my feelings in front of him and begged him.

But my begging came to an abrupt stop when I felt his hands on my shoulders I looked up and saw tears in his eyes and he passed a small smile to me.

"I know I know stop begging Dani would kill me if he found out that his son was begging to me and I am giving you my permission to pursue her because all I am seeing in your eyes is sincerity for my daughter but", uncle said and stopped with a but and I know something is coming after it.

"But...", I repeated for him to continue but his expressions suddenly turned hard.

"One tear from her eyes because of you and I will break each and every bone present in your body and show you hell on earth I want my daughter happy and protected but DONT and I mean it Don't you dare to touch her or get intimate with her I want her innocent till her wedding and after what we got to know about her past I am damn sure she is afraid and she needs more time understood?", he told me seriously and hearing him in this tone really makes me afraid I gulped a lump that formed in my mouth and nodded immediately.

After that we talked for some time where he showed me some pics of Sierra from her childhood and told me a lot of incidents about her where she would close peoples mouth with her witty replies about an hour later I left his room a after listening to his constant threats I went to Sierras room to take a look on her when I entered her room I was greeted with an empty bed and I immediately went on search for her because last night what I saw on her face those blank eyes I am afraid and constantly having this feeling that something bad is going to happen I was searching for her and at last I saw her having breakfast on the kitchen with Brian and Julie sitting opposite to her but what makes me confuse is Sierra keeps on glancing on Brian with this weird expression I slowly came towards them but came to a sudden halt when I heard Brian talk.

"I love you Julie", saying this he held her face and kissed her what shocked me more was she kissed him back.

"I love you too", Julie answered him when they broke apart and right now I am feeling disgusted I knew there was something between them but for God sake she is my sister and is kissing my best friend in front of me and Sierra she is not saying anything it looks like she knew about them or not but her eyes are blank.

Sierra POV

I woke up with a slight headache I sat up on my bed and remembered what happened in the morning oh Sam was with me when I was crying I am glad that he didn't ask me anything in the morning and I hope he doesn't ask anything later too I raised and went to bathroom did my morning chores and got ready in a light blue sundress I didn't join the school today too and its probably too late I left the room to meet dad but when I came to his door I Sam's voice he was talking to dad I heard everything how he confessed about me.

I don't know why hearing his confessions just made me feel things like there were butterflies in the pit of my stomach I heard till my dad threatened him oh I just love dad and how protective he is towards me.

Not wanting to eavesdrop and left for the kitchen as I was feeling hungry when I came to the kitchen I saw Brian and Julie. When I saw dread passed through my bones as I know now that the last culprit is his father and if I want to get justice for my family I have to hurt him but I cant gather the courage to tell Brian that his father is a monster it will hurt him because I saw in his eyes yesterday that he loves his father a lot.

I don't want to hurt him as he has become another brother for me I cant hurt him, but I have to if I want justice for my family that Monster Maxim has to die my nightmares will only stop if he dies he has to pay for all those screams he has to pay for ruining my childhood but no matter what I know I cant gather the courage to tell him the truth but I have to and I will.

"Sierra you woke up are you fine?", Brian asked me passing a small smile to me and its breaking my heart that when he knows the truth he will be hurt.

"I am fine just hungry", I replied and moved towards the kitchen I don't want anyone to be suspicious of me from my behavior that's why I will try to act normal and gather all the courage I have and tell him about his monster father.

"Sit I will make you something", Julie said and was going to rise when I stopped her.

"No its okay I will make something light for myself", saying this I made some toasts and scrambled eggs and sat across them on the kitchen counter and ate silently while they displayed their affection.

They just said I love to each other when we heard another voice which made them scared because they got caught red handed by Julies one and only brother Samuel who was standing behind them with a disgusted face.
