As soon as Isabella heard what Lila said, her heart skipped a beat, and she carefully recalled the events of the blind date. Quinn approached her directly that day, so it shouldn't have been a mistake on her part.
"Izzy..." Lila nervously grasped Isabella's hand. "Tell me everything. What's going on?"
Lila was worried that Isabella had been duped by a big liar.
Isabella carefully explained to Lila about the blind date and the fact that Quinn was the new CEO of her company. Lila's eyes nearly popped out as she listened. "Isabella, you are such a silly girl."
Lila grabbed her iPad and instantly opened a webpage to search for Quinn, the CEO of NextEra Technologies. She murmured, "I bet he must be a bald, potbellied old man. No way someone could be attractive enough to match you..."
