“Well, we can’t leave it here!” Jena wailed.
Aiming his pistol over the wall, Jack fired several shots. Ragnosians were flooding through the space between the two design labs. He counted at least two dozen now. One of them took a shot to the chest and fell back against the man behind him.
“High impact!” Jack growled.
The LEDs on his g*n turned red.
His next shot punched through some poor guy’s body armour, dropping him to the ground. The woman behind him slipped on his blood and fell flat on her face. The rest of his team was hard at work as well.
Ragnosians fell, gunned down by Jon, Jena, Larani and Rajel. Even Gabi was getting in on it. This was no good! They had only four minutes to deal with that nuke. Or everyone in this city would die.
