About me

Natasha sat on the edge of the bed, staring into space. She couldn't believe what Klaus had just told her. She was adopted? Her whole life felt like a lie. She remembered her childhood, her parents, and everything else, and all of it seemed so unreal. Klaus put his hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "I know it's a lot to take in, Natasha. But you have to understand that your parents loved you very much. They chose you, and they raised you as their own. You're still the same person you were before you found out." Natasha shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "But why didn't they tell me? Why did they keep it a secret from me?" They decided to investigate further and went to the town where Rose's family had lived. They talked to the locals and asked if anyone knew of a family that had a daughter who looked like Rose. They were led to the Roosevelt family, who had adopted a young girl named Roxy. Natasha was stunned. Roxy was her cousin, and she had no idea. She felt like she was uncovering a whole new part of her life that had been hidden from her. Klaus was equally surprised and didn't know how to react. Klaus sighed. "I don't know, Natasha. Sometimes people keep secrets to protect the ones they love. Maybe they thought it was for the best." Natasha wiped her tears away and took a deep breath. "I need some time to process all of this. Can I be alone for a while?" "Of course," Klaus said, standing up. "I'll leave you to it. But remember, I'm here for you if you need me." Natasha nodded, and Klaus left the room. She lay back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. She felt lost, like she didn't belong anywhere. She wondered if she would ever find her place in the world. A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, and she sat up. "Come in," she called out. The door opened, and Roxy walked in. "Hey, I heard what happened. Are you okay?" Natasha shook her head. "No, not really. I just found out I'm adopted." Roxy sat down next to her. "I'm sorry, Natasha. That's a lot to handle." Natasha wiped away her tears. "It's just hard to believe. My whole life has been a lie." Roxy put her arm around her. "You're still the same person, Natasha. Nothing has changed. You're still the girl I grew up with." Natasha smiled weakly. "Thanks, Roxy. That means a lot." Roxy stood up. "Do you want to do something to take your mind off things? Maybe we can go for a walk or something?" Natasha nodded, grateful for the distraction. "That sounds good." They left the house and started walking down the street. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over everything. They walked in silence for a while, just enjoying each other's company. Finally, Roxy spoke up. "You know, there's something else I want to tell you." Natasha turned to her, curious. "What is it?" Roxy took a deep breath. "I'm adopted too. My parents never told me until I was sixteen." Natasha's eyes widened. "Really? I had no idea." Roxy nodded. "It was a shock at first, but eventually, I realized that it didn't change who I was. I'm still the same person, and so are you." Natasha smiled, feeling a little better. "Thanks, Roxy. You always know how to make me feel better." They continued walking, talking about everything and nothing. Natasha felt a sense of peace settling over her, and she knew that everything would be okay in the end. As they walked back to the house, Klaus was waiting for them. "Hey, how was the walk?" "It was good," Roxy said, smiling at Natasha. "We had a nice chat." Klaus turned to Natasha. "Are you feeling any better?" Natasha nodded. "A little bit. It's still a lot As they drove away, Natasha looked out the window and watched as the town disappeared into the distance. She knew that this was just the beginning of her journey, but she was ready to face it head-on, with Klaus by her side.
