In the night

May 10, 2023 It's been 29 years since the fire that took everything from us. I still miss my parents and Katerina every day, but I've learned to live with the pain. Klaus and Natasha have built a beautiful life together, and I'm grateful for her love and support. As I sit in the garden of our rebuilt mansion, I see the flowers in full bloom, just like they were on that fateful day. But this time, they bring me joy instead of sorrow. Life goes on, and we have to cherish Natasha sat on the couch in Klaus's living room, flipping through the pages of Silas's diary. The more she read, the more questions she had. She couldn't believe that Klaus and Silas were vampires, and that there were other vampires out there known as "the originals." "Klaus, this is insane," Natasha said, looking up from the diary. "How can you be a vampire?" "It's a long story," Klaus replied, taking a seat next to her. "But I'll tell you everything you want to know." Natasha listened intently as Klaus told her about his life as a human in the 18th century, and how he and Silas had become vampires. Klaus spoke about his ex-girlfriend, Rose, who had forced both him and Silas to drink her blood and subsequently killed herself, turning them into vampires. He explained that vampires could only turn humans into vampires by feeding them their blood, and that the newly turned vampire had to die with the blood in their system for the transformation to take effect. "But what about sunlight?" Natasha asked. "How can you walk around in the daylight?" "That's where Olivia comes in," Klaus replied. "She's a witch who created a special ring that allows us to walk in the sunlight without burning up." Natasha was still trying to wrap her head around the idea of vampires and witches when Klaus's phone rang. He excused himself and went to answer it, leaving Natasha and Silas alone in the living room. "So, tell me more about Katerina," Natasha said, turning to Silas. Silas sighed deeply. "Katerina was beautiful. She had the bluest eyes I'd ever seen, and her smile could light up a room. She was smart, too. Klaus and I were both in love with her." "What happened to her?" Natasha asked. "On May 10, 1994, our parents and Katerina were killed in a fire accident," Silas explained. "But it wasn't an accident. Someone wanted them dead." Natasha's eyes widened in shock. "Do you have any idea who did it?" "We have our suspicions," Silas replied cryptically. "But we haven't been able to prove anything." Just then, Klaus walked back into the room. "We need to leave," he said. "There's trouble in the city." "What kind of trouble?" Natasha asked. "Other vampires," Klaus replied. "They're causing chaos and we need to put a stop to it." Silas and Natasha followed Klaus out of the mansion and into the city. They drove to a deserted alleyway where they found a group of vampires attacking innocent people. Klaus, Silas, and Natasha sprang into action, fighting off the vampires with all their might. Klaus and Silas were skilled fighters, but Natasha was surprised at how easily she fell into the rhythm of battle. She was able to hold her own against the vampires, using her newfound strength and agility to her advantage. After what felt like hours, the group was able to defeat the vampires and save the innocent people. As they walked back to Klaus's car, Natasha couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and adrenaline rush through her. She had never felt so alive. "Are you okay?" Klaus asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm more than okay," Natasha replied, grinning from ear to ear. Klaus smiled back at her. "I'm glad. But you need to be careful. The world of vampires is dangerous, and you could get hurt." "I can handle it," Natasha said confidently. "Besides, I have you and Silas to protect me." Klaus chuckled. "I have a feeling you'll be the one doing
