As Klaus talked about his life before coming to Naskervile, Natasha listened with rapt attention. She could sense the pain and sadness in his voice, and she knew that he had gone through a lot of hardship in his life.

Klaus spoke about his parents, Esther and Jeremy Grayerson. They are archaeologists, and they traveled all over the world, looking for ancient artifacts. Klaus had grown up in different countries, and he had seen things that most people only read about in books.

But then, tragedy struck. Klaus's parents had been on a dig in Egypt when a fire broke out in their hotel. They tried to escape, but it was too late. They perished in the flames, along with Klaus's childhood friend and first love, Katerina.

Klaus was devastated by the loss of his parents and Katerina. He had loved her since they were children, and he had always hoped that they would be together someday. But now, she was gone, and he was alone in the world.

"I know that I've talked a lot about Katerina," Klaus continued. "But I want you to know that I'm with you now. You're the one that I care about, and I don't want anything to come between us."

Natasha felt a surge of relief wash over her. She had been so worried that Klaus was still in love with Katerina, that he would never be able to love anyone else. But now, she knew that she was wrong.

As Klaus took her hand, Natasha felt a warmth spread through her body. She knew that she was falling in love with him, that she had been all along. And she knew that, no matter what happened, she would always be there for him.

They stood by the Lovelake, watching the sunset together, their hands clasped tightly.
