Amelia and Asher reached the Penelope’s mansion. Butler Qin greeted both of them and invited them inside. They saw family of three at the dining table. Anna saw them coming and invited them to eat, with a fake smile.
Amelia was disgusted with her smile, she left upstairs saying that she has no appetite and she need to get some stuff from her room.
Anna got furious as because Amelia ignored her. Mathew too ignored Anna and asked Asher to have dinner with him. But Asher refused him saying he already had dinner on his way back.
Everyone finished dinner and was waiting for Amelia. After some time Amelia came down carrying a bag. Anna stood up from her seat and asked, what are you carrying in your bag?
It’s none of your business, Amelia replied with a stare.
I couldn’t find my mom’s pendant in my safe; I want to know who took it? Amelia said by looking at both Anna and Miley.
Isn’t it just a pendant why do you make so much fuss? Anna said ignorantly. Amelia got furious… I will ask one more time, if you don’t say anything I will search both of your room myself, Amelia pointed her finger at both.
How can you search my room? Miley said grinding her teeth, she looked at Mathew for help but he kept silent as he knows Amelia’s temper. When Amelia was about to go upstairs Miley interrupted and said, I have that pendant… I will bring now and left upstairs.
She went to her room, took that bracelet and smashed it hardly on the floor. After a while she came downstairs and gave the broken bracelet to Amelia.
Amelia was so angry; she asked how and when the bracelet broke. Sorry sister, it was already like this when I took from the room, she said with a fake innocent face.
Amelia didn’t reply anything; she rushed to Miley’s room. Everyone followed her. Wait… why are going to my room? Didn’t I already give you the pendant? Miley yelled at her.
She ran towards her room and stood in front of the door as a way of blocking. Amelia pushed her aside and went into her room and saw some pieces of pendant scattered on the floor. she went furious.
She took all the jewels that belong to Miley and smashed them hardly on the floor. Anna and Miley tried to stop her, but they couldn’t. After she smashed every single piece of jewelry, she came near Miley and gave her a slap. She was about to talk something, before that Amelia slapped her again.
This is the price for messing with me. You deliberately smashed my mother’s pendant and yet dare to lie to me.
How dare you? How dare you slap your sister? Anna yelled at her by hugging Miley. I dare to slap her and I also dare to slap you, do you want to try? Amelia said by taking her step forward.
Mathew! Look at her. This is the way she speaks with her mom.
YOU ARE NOT MY MOM! Amelia shouted at her.
A filthy creature like you is not my mom. My mom is already dead.
Amelia! She is your elder. Mathew said to her. That’s the reason why I have not raised my hand on her Mr. Mathew, Amelia replied without looking at him.
And Miley say sorry to your sister… said Mathew.

Then leave the house… either ask sorry or leave the house, Mathew said in a cold voice.
Amelia chuckled…
You may continue your drama, I’m leaving… Amelia said in an ignorant tone and left the house with Asher.
Before she leave, nanny Zhao came towards her running and gave them some food prepared by her. I know you both have not had your dinner yet, so eat it after you reach home, she said by patting her head.
Thank you nanny… you too please take care of yourself, she said and left the house.
Asher was already waiting for her in the car. Amelia was silent throughout the way and was thinking about something. Asher patted her head and said, don’t think and worry about anything. Everything will be fine…
Amelia felt relax after listening his words; She gave him a smile by nodding her head.
