When Worlds CollidePatience reached Terrence and Reena, who seemed to have been waiting rather anxiously, and allowed them into the car. Terrence still looked slightly aggravated about Jonah's actions, but was relieved to see him safely out of the police station. Jonah glanced back at Reena and frowned.
“Lockman told you to leave your name and the name of your firm with the receptionist,” he recalled. “How did you get out of that?”
“That flirtatious dumbass, Feldman,” muttered Reena. “He said that he truly didn't want to see 'that loon's' crazy lies drag down anyone else. He told me to just walk away, head back to my firm, and he was certain that Lockman would deal with you.”
