Jonah made an impatient noise as Felix repeated this for the third time that Sunday morning. He, Terrence, and Reena pretty much had the estate to themselves; most of the other residents went to the morning service at the faith haven to show support and solidarity to Reverend Abbott. But as much as they loved the man, Jonah, Terrence, and Reena weren't among them. Jonah hadn't had anything to do with church or religion since he'd lost his grandmother. Reena had confided to them a while back that her spiritual beliefs didn't require her to be “enclosed within a brick building every Sunday.” Terrence just didn't trust himself not to nod off during the service.
