Sophia's POV When I told Hailey I was making a list, she assumed it was another one of my harmless life improvements. "Is it for fitness? You need to lose some weight," she teased. "No," I replied, looking at the piece of paper in my hand. It had one goal boldly written, GET A MAN TO TAKE MY VIRGINITY. Hailey had gawked at me when I told her my plan, her mouth opening and closing like a fish. "Sophia, are you nuts? Why this suddenly? This has to do with last night, right? You are just going to pick some random guy?" "Yes." "But why?" I was tired of being inexperienced and being overlooked. Hailey shook her head at my silence, muttering something about me needing therapy. I didn't care. I was done being the boring one. Tonight, I was going to do something wild, something reckless. I had done my research carefully, sifting through various options until I found the perfect place. The club I chose was known for its exclusive client, the kind of establishment that catered to a sophisticated crowd, people who valued privacy and discretion. It was the kind of place where I could slip into the background, blend in with ease, and meet a man who wouldn't cling to her or pass judgment. In that environment, I felt I could finally let go of the weight she had been carrying, at least for one night. The idea was simple, just one night. One evening of passion with no strings attached, no expectations beyond the physical connection. I believed that after that experience, I would be closer to her goal, to reaching the destination I had set for herself. It was as if this single encounter would somehow unlock the confidence I had been craving, the validation I thought I needed to truly feel like I had stepped into a new chapter of her life. Everything seemed so clear in my mind, just one night, and I could leave my insecurities behind, moving forward with a sense of purpose and newfound strength. —----------------- The music hit me first, pulsing through the air. The club was dark and glittering with bodies moving in rhythm. I adjusted my black dress, tugging at the hem nervously. This wasn't my usual place but tonight I was acting as me. I regretted not forcing Hailey to come with me but she had other plans. I silently cursed. I scanned the crowded room, trying to look confident as I skipped my drink. The first step was finding a target and the second was being bold. Lastly, Get it over with. A short dark man with a mischievous grin approached me at the bar. He wasn't exactly my type but he had an easy charm that made me laugh. We chatted for a while, and for a moment, I thought maybe this could work. Until his phone rang and I saw a picture of a woman and three kids on the screen. "You are married?" I inquired. He nervously chuckled. "Technically, but it's complicated." "No, thanks," I said, walking away before he could say more. Strike one. —----------------- I moved deeper into the club, my nerves on edge, making each step feel heavier than the last. The pulsing music and flashing lights did little to calm me. If anything, they heightened the tension. As I made my way through the crowd, I tried to steady my breath, but it wasn’t easy. That’s when I saw him. He was tall, broad shouldered who displayed confidence that seemed almost tangible. His presence was commanding, and even in a room full of people, I couldn't help but notice him. Without a word, he slid into the seat next to me, his movements smooth and assured. There was something about him that immediately caught my attention, but I wasn’t sure if it was the way he looked or the way he carried himself. I had a strange feeling, yet my nerves wouldn’t quite settle, and I found myself wondering what his intentions were. "I'm looking for something," he asked, his voice low and smooth. "How can I help?," I said, meeting his gaze. His smile widened. "You have an interesting energy. Submissive, but curious." "What?" I was so confused. What was he talking about? He could see all that by just looking at me? "I'm into b**m," he said bluntly. "You will make a great submissive. I can see it in your posture, the way you hesitate. You are just waiting for someone to take control." I blinked, completely thrown off. This was not what I signed up for. "Hmm, no. Thank you." I turned and practically ran. Strike two. —---------------------- I practically lost hope and doubt began to fill my inside. Maybe this was a stupid idea. Maybe I wasn't cut out for this kind of thing. Maybe Louis and I were never meant to be. I was ready to call it a night when I noticed him. He was seated in the VIP section, a quiet island of sophistication amidst the chaos. He wasn't dancing or laughing loudly like the others. He sat there, sipping his drink, his gaze focused on the glass in his hand. He was tall and well dressed with sharp features and an air of mystery that made it impossible to ignore. I felt a pull toward him. I had found my guy. Excitement erupted from my body. Before I knew it, I was walking toward him, my heart pounding in my chest. "Hi," I said, my voice barely heard over the music He looked up, his eyes dark and piercing. For a moment, I thought he might dismiss me, but then he smiled, a slow, lazy smile that made my stomach flip. "I'm Sophia," I said, trying to sound confident. "Can I join you?" I asked, gesturing to the empty seat beside him. I looked at the drunk man who had changed my life in one unforgettable night. I was certain what I was about to do was wrong. "Your eyes are beautiful," he murmured, his gaze locked on mine, a lazy, intoxicated smile on his lips. What was I thinking? In a desperate attempt to please my crush who had said he didn’t like virgins, I was willing to throw myself at this stranger. A drunk stranger. "What are you thinking?" I whispered, more to myself than to him. The handsome man in front of me chuckled, a deep sound that sent shivers down my spine. He was no doubt good looking, with sharp features and piercing eyes that softened as he leaned closer. And then, without warning, he crushed his lips against mine. "Ellie," he breathed, pulling away just enough to look into my eyes. "You came back." This man thought I was someone else. Ellie. A dark thought crossed my mind. What if I pretended to be her? Whoever Ellie was, she must have been someone he loved deeply. And for one night, I could be her. I could give him the comfort he needed while fulfilling my own desires. He kissed me again, softly at first, then with a fiery passion that consumed us both. One thing led to another, and we ended up in his luxurious penthouse. Beneath the glow of the city lights streaming through the windows, I became the Ellie he needed, surrendering myself completely in that moment. He kissed my n*****s. Caressing them and giving each one the attention they required. He allowed his tongue to circle round my hard n*****s. Goosebumps erupted all over my body. He watched me react to every touch, every kiss and every electric he placed on her stomach. Soon after he was in between my legs. He made love to Ellie who I became that night. The next morning, I woke up in his bed, the events of the night replaying in my mind like a vivid dream. I slipped out quietly, clutching the memories and the newfound confidence. I thought I would finally win over my crush. But reality came crashing down harder than I expected when I walked into my new office later that day. I froze, my heart dropped as I carried the coffee tray toward my boss’s desk. Alexander Cain. The same Alexander who had held me in his arms last night, who had whispered Ellie’s name with such tenderness, who had devoured me as though I were his entire world. He lifted his eyes from the papers in front of him, his gaze flicking to me and then to the coffee in my trembling hands. I felt my stomach drop and I crossed my fingers, silently praying he wouldn’t remember me or worse, call me out for what I had done. —------------------
