That earned a few chuckles from Michelle and Nick. Scott, Cam and Mark grinned. Brian and Dan looked on impassively.
“Also, I know we’ve had warm weather so far, and I get it that you might be thinking of packing your parkas in your sherpa bags. Don’t go there. Seriously, people! The weather up here, as I’ve said time and again, can change in a heartbeat. Don’t get caught with your shorts down.”
Cam and Scott exchanged knowing glances.
Michelle rolled her eyes. Really?
Really?“One last thing,” John said. He cast his glance at Michelle and then at Dan. “We’re short one guide here, so I’d like to keep us from getting too far strung out on the trail tomorrow. That means we’re only going to go as fast as the slowest person. Enjoy your lunch. I’ll be around to check on everybody afterward.”
