Chapter 19
Cody’s session with Greta was beyond draining. As she described the minutiae of his everyday life in the hospital, mental clouds seemed to part. How foolish he’d been to think he’d moved to Florida.
They discussed his medication and his parents. They talked about writing Cody’s dreams down in a journal and he wondered if he had the energy for any of it. Every few minutes, a new problem nagged at Cody.
“But what about Les Misérables?” he asked, cutting Greta off.
“What about it?”
“I never read it, but I got through a good chunk in my dreams.”
“You’ve seen the movie, yes?” she asked.
“Sure.”
“And can you now recollect anything specific from the book that wasn’t in the movie?”
“I guess not.”
“You see? That also explains why you fantasized about watching your favorite show
