Cody woke up late the next morning, with Harry poking him in the cheek with his index finger. It was the most Hayden-like the mute had acted. After grumbling, Cody threw on his loose-fitting hospital clothes and followed Harry to the cafeteria for breakfast.
“So, how long you been here?” Cody asked Harry at the small table they ate alone at. Harry squinted at him and shoved a forkful of eggs in his mouth. “Right. How long have I been here?” Cody shrugged and turned his attention back to his crispy bacon.
