Life reached a comfortable normality for Cody over the following weeks. He got in a regular routine of caring for Random and his parents didn’t pressure him into finding a new therapist. He studied the Florida State Driver’s Manual in his free time and managed to film most of Skyler’s movie without incident. There were no demonic problems to deal with and Adam seemed relatively prepared for the GED.
Cody thought he was even more nervous than Adam was about his boyfriend taking the GED. He enlisted Hayden to drive Adam to take the test and bring him back, and put together a small party at Dominic’s house to celebrate Adam’s accomplishment.
