I suddenly felt terrified at the sudden shout that had my senses heightening than usual, I felt my heartbeat racing a thousand per minute as I looked up to Alex whose face also expressed a sudden confusion.
“Stay here and don’t say a word…I’ll go check whatever it is that’d going on” Alex wanted to leave but I had to hold him back suddenly afraid to be alone.
“Don’t worry, the cabin only has one exit and Hematite and Pearl are in the fore-cabin, no one comes into your cabin without my permission. I’ll keep you safe…I promise” I relaxed after that and nodded in understanding as he stood and left ready to confirm whatever it is that was going on. Mia felt out of reach and the bad aura around me was enough to choke me up.
