"God I'm so excited" I keep jumping about in happiness as Alex walked behind me watching me with love and adoration. The feeling was mutual I thought as we hit the hallway then outside the chambers fort.
"Why don't you go to the battlement with me, you can get a proper look of the palace" Alex suggested and I gave him a wild grin and he immediately lead me through the inner court to the towers, we took the stairs and headed for the battlements. From there I could get a proper view of the castle. It was beautiful, I hadn't noticed the golden colour the castle was painted in until that moment.
"That's the donjon" Alex pointed at the long building at the inner part of the castle.
"What's it for?" I asked turning to Alex while trying to keep my hair out of my face as the breeze was blowing
