Chapter 6
“What’s the latest?” Charlie asked. He seemed particularly unmindful that morning in homeroom of the fact that he’d been ignoring Tim since the previous morning.
“I’m fine, thank you. How’re things with you?” he said sarcastically.
Charlie seemed bored as he flopped down next to him. “I already asked how you were this month, remember?”
He knew that was the closest he was going to get to an apology from Charlie. Without skipping a beat, he said, “Tom and I are meeting with his mom tonight to finalize everything for Friday. It’s going to be so wild, Charlie! After everyone leaves the after-party for Amanda’s, our private weekend party will only start,” Tim said suggestively.
Looking bored once again, Charlie faked a yawn as Lacy stepped into the room.
