Chapter 12
Tim had looked everywhere for his boyfriend, but couldn’t find him. He was about to head outside again to try Tom’s mobile when he bumped into James. He was disconcerted by the intensity of James’s stare, but that was par for the course. He decided to play it cool.
“How’s it going, Tim?” James asked.
“Okay, thanks,” he said. He excused himself and tried to pass James to search to the pool area again.
“I think Tom was looking for you,” James said.
He turned his head and looked up at James’ tall frame. “Did you see him? I’m looking everywhere for him. Where is he?” he asked without taking a breath.
“He mentioned something about checking upstairs. His bedroom, I think.”
