Chapter 16 It was the day of Charlie’s funeral and people were arriving in hoards. Tim hadn’t realized his friend had known so many people. The church had put out more chairs to accommodate the growing crowed. Tim sat next to Mrs. Withers, with Carla and Lacy on his other side. Tom didn’t want to sit so close to the front of the church and was to meet up with Tim at the graveside. He sat with his parents and Mrs. Bailey Instead. Tim saw the pianist take her seat, then beat out a solemn tune, and the crowd settled.
