CHAPTER THIRTEEN Etienne listened carefully to Linda’s tragic tale. He couldn’t argue with her idea to remain missing. At least until their plans had moved into place. Linda will need a new identity and a passport. “Eric, this won’t be easy,” Etienne noted. “You’re right. But I’m having her stay in the States.” “She’ll still need a driver’s license and a new name.” They sat at the dining table with the cheese platter in the middle.
