CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE Linda turned off the highway at the Great Falls Tavern visitor’s center, in Virginia, so she could hike next to the Potomac. Today’s capsules were supposed to flow towards the White House. A fact she found both humorous and brilliant at the same time. Anticipation made her grip the steering wheel even tighter, as she turned into the gravel lot. While parking the car, she thought about the previous day in the Appalachians where she had stayed in a riverfront log cabin and attempted to use a rod and reel for the first time. Too bad she ended up knee high in a marsh. Though she thrived on adventure, the damp clothing and wet boots made her crank the heat up in the car.
