CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE A constant mist falls like angel dust in Kauai. Island breezes and sunshine make the flowers not only bigger, but blooms emit a sweet, alluring scent. The plants, lava rocks and the blue-green ocean, are only part of an unendingly picturesque display that includes: waterfalls with prisms of rainbows, mountains, fields of sugarcane, coffee plantations, volcanoes, unspoiled beaches and golf courses.
