After we took Leon out of the forest we found Hajime waiting impatiently for us to return, but when he saw us his eyes grew wide when his eyes snapped onto his master.
"Oh my god, what happened to Leon and...who the hell are you?" Hajime glared over to Kazi.
"Leon was poisoned by a Ash Butterfly but thank god to Kazi the one who we were coming here for we got out of there with our heads still attached to our necks. But unfortunately Leon isn't going to make it unless if I don't go back home to get the ingredients to make the remedy to stop the poison from spreading to his heart and his blood stream."
Kazi nodded her head. "So you must be the Right hand man of the Prince, the son of the Fallen Dragoon King." The blind she Elf blurred out.
My head shot over to Kazi then over to Hajime who has a look on his face of distorted fear and anger that I have not see before.
"How do you know that?" Hajime asked peoplewith a deep growl.
"Good sir. I might be blind but that does not mean I lost my senses. I can see things that only others ever dreamed about and things that people want to keep hidden."
I glanced between the blind Elf and Hajime but instead of continuing the argument I cleared my throat and interrupted the argument instead. "Alright you two that is enough we can finish this conversation like rational people after we safe Leon. Kazi you come with me and Hajime you stay here and watch over Leon while we're gone."
"What?" Hajime stood up and stalked up to me. "You actually want to go with this harpy to where you have to go to get the antidote? What if she tried to kill you while we're not there?" The man grabbed my shoulders and growled deep in his throat.
I smiled and touched his cheek softly which calmed him down somewhat. "I'll be fine, we need her anyway and if she can help us heal the Prince then I will take that chance. We have to go to Moonlight Forest, my home to get everything to make the antidote."
I walked passed the Dragoon and up the down Prince. I looked down at him and sadly smiled, moving his bangs up away from his forehead I kissed his forehead. Laying mine against his. "I'll be back Leon just hold on and keep fighting if not for yourself at least for me ok?"
His fingers twitched a little then his arm moved until his hand rested on the back of my neck which made a gasped escape my lips. His eyes slightly opened looking right up at me with pain and sadness filling his beautiful forest green eyes."I know you have to go but please because careful, I don't want anything to happen to you."
I moved down until I'm looking down at him. "Leon you should know I am capable of taking care of myself. You should be worrying about yourself right now."
"Ares I hope I'm not overstepping when I do this but I can't hold back anymore." Leon slowly sat up some ignoring the searing pain in his chest, pulling me in closer to him and pressed his lips against mine. I wanted to refuse the kiss but my body wouldn't let me, with that my eyes slowly closed on their own accord continuing the kiss for a few minutes longer. I felt Hajime's eyes piercing right through both of us but instead of stopping the intimacy of the moment and turned his head away. After a few minutes Leon was the one who pulled away. "I've been wanting to do that since we were staying in Drake's Ridge in your friend's house."
If my eyes could bulge out more from their sockets then they would while I was blushing deep crimson.
When he realized that he caught me off guard Leon touched my burning cheek with his hand and smiled weakly. "Please come back safely for both our sakes."
"I will I promise." I smiled, lightly touching his hand got up glancing up at Hajime who kept his eyes averted the whole time...I smiled.
"Alright Kazi if your ready lets get going." I softly touched Hajime's cheek and kissed his lips. While our lips were locked on each other the Dragoon wrapped his arms around me pulling me close like his life depends on it.
After 10 minutes has passed Hajime pulled away and let me slip out of his arms.
"We'll be back I promise, just keep an eye on him."
"Two eyes, at all times." Hajime helped me up on my horse, holding my cheek in his hand and kissed my forehead. "Come back to us safely Ares."
"Always."
Hajime stepped back so I can outstretched my hand to Kazi. "Come on lets go Kazi."
The she Elf smiled and grabbed my hand even though she's blind she could tell where my hand was. After taking my hand she jumped and landed on the saddle right behind me.
"Alright." I squeezed the horse's sides then gently but in a hard way kicked it with the sides of my feet for the horse to start racing off.
