Nicholas put his hands on Vivian's back and under her knees and lifted her. He kicked open the door to the room upstairs and threw her on the big bed.
The violent jolt woke Vivian up. She was startled by Nicholas' angry face. She curled up subconsciously and backed away quickly. "What do you want?"
