“Thank you for your cooperation. We might need an official statement so we will keep in touch.” Crowley said while standing up from his seat, his expression was hard to read but I could tell he was the more good natured one of the two.
“Alright…” Becca said in a low voice while slumping her shoulders, I couldn’t tell if she was reassured or not by their words.
“As promised we will protect your identity and make sure none of this comes out in the open.” Oscar said while then turning to glance at me, I ignored it at first.
Becca just nodded her head at that statement.
“One more thing we’d like to discuss… Daniel, you’re his wife, right?” Oscar questioned me.
I hesitated then denied it. “No, no, no… I am his girlfriend.” I corrected him.
