As they sat down at the high rise restaurant, Marceline raised an eyebrow, she took one glance around her looking at the awfully familiar atmosphere. “You really did choose a nice restaurant… Though it’s unexpected, this is the same place Eren used to work at part time, isn’t that right?” She questioned with a relaxed expression now, yet her gaze looked perceptive as ever.
“You seem to know a lot about him.” Daniel remarked, as the waitress came and went, the conversation between them seemed to flow in an awkwardly tense way.
Marceline shrugged her shoulders. “He texts me a lot when he’s troubled… he even said I was like his mother.” She confessed easily.
