10- White Angel

2328 Words
You need to wake up. You’re healed. Thanks to my awesomeness. A voice in my head woke me up, but before I could shake the unwanted voice, a flash of light took me by surprise. Sorry about the sudden ray of sunshine. I’m stronger when there is light so this has to be my normal living space. I wolf-like animal with wings showed up in front of me. She was white as a dove and her whole body was big as any trained wolf. She was magnificent. Could she be the Moon Goddess You flatter me human but I am not mother, I am you, as you are me. I believe this is our first time meeting in person so I won’t give you so much of a hard time. I am Alalia, a descendant of the moon goddess, purest of all creation and the last of my kind. I am a wolf-angel or in your words, I am your wolf. She wiggles her tail and tilts her head to the side, waiting for me to say something. I know that I am hearing her words in my head, despite her mouth not moving, I can clearly understand her. Deary don’t be so stupid, of course you understand me, I am you and you are me. We’re the same. And before you even think about it or even say anything, I already know everything about it. She spoke with sass in her voice and because I am still in daze of what was happening, she had to let out a bark just to snap me out of my head. “I…I” my mouth couldn’t form the right words to say. It took her years to finally show up and I have been waiting for her, wanting her, looking for her for years, and I may have momentarily settled to thinking that she didn’t exist but I was hopeful. Now that shes finally in front of me, I just can’t believe it. Girl you need to relax. I was hibernating this whole time, the years of your suffering should be over. I am finally ready to face everything, so just relax. And let me out. Alalia approaches me like a predator trapping its prey and if I didn’t know better, I would have curled down and let her take my fear and use it against me. This is a play of dominance. A weak human mind hosting a powerful wolf. If I let her take control, she’ll never let me have my body back. I have to win her over so that she can treat me as her equal. I have to stand my ground. You can fight all you want deary but we both know I’m the one who should be out there. I’m the one who should be fighting for our life. You are weak, and you are useless. You can’t do anything without involving others. I am a werewolf-angel. Purest of all kind, descendant of the Moon Goddess herself, a legendary wolf who fought alongside thousands of werewolves during the great way. I am again reborn and I will find my place in this new era. You are nothing. I am everything. She pushed me to a corner and her aura became ominous. I could feel her power radiating all over the place, she was powerful and if what she’s claiming is correct she is what the werewolf world needs. Power is the only thing that has value in todays generation. However, this is my first time hearing about a Werewolf angel. Even with my little knowledge of the great war, historians never mentioned a werewolf higher than the Alpha’s. She could just be lying to make me more scared than I already am. Come on child. I am a part of you, why would I lie to the person who would sense it. I can feel you as much as you can feel me. With that, why don’t you just give me the reigns child. You can remain in this space and be free of all pain and rejections. With me outside, you’ll never have to experience pain. You’ll never experience being alone again. I know what you went through and the pain you experience under those who should have protected you, bowed down to you, I know everything. I am saving you from all the misery, so just give in. She’s using my memories to make me give up. I look into her and all I could see is this magnificent beast who can turn everything upside down. I wonder how would others think of this situation. Would they give in? Alalia made a valid point, seconds ago, all I ever experienced was a bunch of unpleasant things. I was beaten almost to death at a young age, I was treated like a nobody by the very people who should have protected me, I kept running for most of life and now, now that I have another chance to belong and be accepted, I had to again prove myself, receive a beating and be rejected just like most of the time. The witch who almost bled me to death was right. I am useless. Pity, little Cyndra. Mother gave you such a cruel fate. Just give in deary, I will make your life wonderful from today onwards. I will make sure to make those who made you suffer, experience a millions times more pain than they did to you. I am you as you are me child. I will avenge you. So just give in. Her eyes were different, she has this golden ember circling her green pupils. It truly feels like I am being sucked in. A part of me wants to fight this, but my heart yearns for the rest it offers. “I’ll give you the reign, but before I do, can I atleast get to know you more? A wolf-angel, that is new.” After hearing my words, she leans back to look at me dead in the eyes. She thinks for a second before turning around and fully changing the scene around us into a battlefield. It was a memory. Werewolf-angels are an elite army of the Moon Goddess who swore to their deaths that they will serve the goddess and no one else. For centuries we fought wars for her. Leading the whole werewolf clans to unity and praising the Goddess for her graces. We made her power so big that no one else could go against her. We sacrificed a lot of our kind just so we can preserve Mothers lineage. And we did. Then a tyrant wolf king came to the world and led a rebellion against the Goddess. He managed to pursue others to serve a different God, a god who can give them massive strength, a strength that will make them kings and alphas of the werewolf clan. We were one all ladies with undeniable skills and beauty. We were strong and would produce heirs that are unbeatable, warriors even, what perceived as a blessing, became a trophy to those Alpha’s. We were haunted. We survived until the great war happened. For the last time Mother took pity on her children, though they betrayed her, she ordered us, the last remaining wolf-angels to protect her people once again. We fought alongside the Kings and Alpha’s that time, we fought hard and, in the end, I was all that’s left of our race. Then I died. But before I died, I made a deal with the Mood Goddess. Lets just say, I wasn;t so happy at how things ended for our race, and how she still favored those who betrayed her, in exchange for my life, I asked her to make me a soul. A counter part of someone. The wolf to someone who becomes a werewolf. To ensure our race will once again prosper, I have to become less. Impure. But that is all in the past now. I am now awaken. I will once again lead and succeed. My race will once again be known and those men who assumed the throne will perish and regret everything that they did to my people. I will make the world know. And you deary… After her whole sad story, she turns around to look at me with the most devious smile plastered on her beautiful snout. “You know, for someone who is called an angel, you are one mischievous wolf.” I smiled while admiring her. She’s strong. Just knowing a little about her and what she went through, she’s amazing for even surviving up until today. She knows what she wants and exactly what to do to get there. The façade maybe big but like what she said, she is me and I am her. I know how she’s only appearing strong in front of me but she’s just scared. Like me. Scared of what she’ll see once she’s out. Scared of what the world has become without her. She is just like me. I am nothing like you human. You should be ashamed of what you are thinking right now. “But I am not ashamed. For this time, I will give you what you want. Do whatever it is that you wish to do. I’ll stay here for as long as you want me to. I am used to being ordered around anyways so this too should just be an easy one.” I relaxed on my sit and watched her be surprised at how easy this is coming for her. So you’re not going to protest and make this a thing? “Nope. You’re offering me a definite way out of my misery. You’re right, I am useless, I am weak and people will always reject me. And like what you said, you are what they need, then you should live the rest of the life I have. Do whatever you want to do.” This is me simply signing off of what life has chosen to give me. This is my get away, my refuge. I should find rest in a place where no one else can hurt me nor make me think less of what I really am. If that’s you’re wish then I shall grant it to you. Awake your mind now deary, we’re both ready to show who we really are. Alalia leans her head towards mine and when I closed my eyes, I only felt bliss. And that was it. Alalia has full control of my body and my mind. I felt the shift before it even started. I was in a room full of nurses and they were surprised when I started to moving uncontrollably. Alalia took her time but and I felt every pain. After all the first shift is always the painful one. My bones cracked and turned like it was beaten a million times. My muscles pulled to many sides and all of my heightened senses, blasted with different things. Now, I can only watch my whole world turn upside down as Alalia now holds the reign of my consciousness. “Something is not right. Call the Alpha” My head snaps to where the voice came from and it came from one of the nurses watching me. My body kept shifting and as Alalia tried to howl, Alpha Clyden, Jada and Beta Ello came rushing inside the room to see what was happening to my body. Jada shrieked in surprise as she saw what was slowly forming in front of her. “This is impossible” she spoke in fear but her eyes couldn’t betray her. She covers her mouth as she watches my whole body change. And once Alalia was finally done, she stood in all four and with her wings spreading, the room just became small. “Cyndra?” beta Ello was the first one to call for me, but he didn’t receive a response. “Who are you wolf? What have you done to Cyndra’s consciousness.” It was the Alpha who first noticed the difference. I do not think Alalia can speak to them in our current form but the look on Alpha Clyden’s face, tells me he has a way to understand. Maybe it’s just another one of his gifts. He doesn’t, he understands me because he is attracted to me. So is your Beta. Pyatros and Tarin, such great wolves of the old. Alalia laughs. “You know our wolves.” Alpha Clyden spoke in his calmest tone. Jada and Beta Ello were only listening but when Alalia’s eyes looked at Ello’s, his stance changed. “Greetings Alpha, Beta. Pyatros, Tarin, its been awhile. Long I have been sleeping in solitude but now I am awaken for greater things are about to happen. I am Alalia, the last remaining wolf-angel, a true descendant of the Moon Goddess, the first race of warriors to ever walk the earth.” A different voice came out of nowhere, surprising me and the rest of the people inside the room. I would have been impressed if it wasn’t for my wolf acting so high and ancient. She spoke with power radiating throughout her body and if I wasn’t stuck inside her consciousness and I’m the one watching her on the other side of the room, I would have been scared. My inner voice would always sound sweet but my outer voice will always be of commanding voice. You should get use to it, you’ll be hearing more of it in the days to come. Say Cyndra, do you want to feel the land beneath your paws? Or soar the skies with your wings? It been awhile, but I am not going to waste another minute. And without a second thought or even a warning, Alalia spreads her wings and flew out of the pack clinic, destroying the roof and everything that’s stopping her from reaching the skies.
