Raven was Pregnant, visibly, heavily pregnant, probably six or seven months along based on the size of her belly. But the math made my head spin. She’d been with Kai less time than I’d been carrying my divine twins, yet her pregnancy looked completely abnormal, this wasn't the speed of a natural human pace it was just like mine, I hadn't spent three months away and her stomach was already this big.
Like she was seven months gone.
Aside from this, something about her made my skin crawl. She moved carefully, as if every step caused pain she was trying to hide. Her face was pale, she had dark circles under her eyes too matching Kai’s.
