After school, they were all loitering outside in the car park. Lyric shivered as the cold air hit him, but he said nothing. "Lyric!" Zeke yelled as he threw his hands up, accidentally smacking Kaito. "Oh, s**t, Kai, I'm so sorry."
Kaito glared at Zeke before snatching Zeke's water bottle from him, uncapping it, and emptying the whole bottle beside Zeke while keeping eye contact.
You could hear Zeke's heartbreaking from a mile away. "My . . . My water! Kai, you asshole!"
Zeke stormed over and linked arms with Lyric, who let out a noise. He didn’t want to be touched. But he couldn’t say anything.
“Zeke,” Roland snapped, scowling at him. “Link arms with Claire. Leave Lyric alone.”
Zeke instantly pulled away from Lyric, smiling apologetically as he went and linked arms with Claire instead
