The four of them continued to eat, and Lyric coloured too. Once they’d eaten, Roland took Lyric’s coloured drawing and folded it up. He slipped it into his jacket pocket, and they left the cafe, weaving in and out of people. Lyric was, once again, clinging onto Roland’s hand. Lyric wanted to come back. His drink was sweet but not too sweet, and he had adored it. They once again piled into Creed’s black car and talked about various things, but it was mainly Chris telling the younger two after their trip to Costa that they had to go back to school.
