My mind was still occupied with the events that had happened over the following days. By the time we got to them, my sister Milla had escaped but the elders were captured and I was alarmed to find two strong young men with them in their group. It seemed my sister also had her loyalists here at the pack but that only confused me. Who in their right frame of mind would support my sister?
As I sat brooding thus, my mind went back to Isabella. The poor girl had really gone through a lot lately. She was recovering fast but I knew it takes great strength to pull through what she had faced.
