Ethan's POV
I left Logan's pack, a knowing smile tugging my lips.
“He is playing hard to get huh?” I asked myself mused. Although he hasn't agreed yet, I knew it was just a matter of time. He was just trying to put on a thick skin but my prying eyes can see through it all. Behind his facade, I could see a man cowering in fear and wrestling with his own fear and insecurities.
My mind slowly drifted to Isabelle. What was I going to tell her?
I could picture the look of disappointment on her face when I tell her Ethan hasn't approved the alliance yet.
My heart ached at the thought and my mind tried to block the imagination.
“What is this that I'm feeling?”
“When did I start caring about Isabelle this much?” I asked myself, bewildered.
