Chapter 19
The sun was high up, casting its warm rays across the pack as Talia pulled up in her car to take me out.
“I came for our arrangement earlier, are you ready?” She asked, flashing me a bright smile, I nodded reciprocating her smile as I hopped into the passenger seat.
“Not so fast”! We heard Ethan's voice booming outside. We both directed our gaze towards him expectantly.
“Talia, make sure you bring Isabelle to me safe and sound, you will be held accountable for anything that happens to her”, he said in a serious tone, his voice leaving no room for argument.
“Yes alpha”, Talia said with a teasing bow which seemed to infuriate him.
We drove off after I bid him goodbye assuring him I would stay safe.
"Ready for some fun?" She asked, excitement bubbling in her voice.
