I looked up abruptly and was shocked to see Mila standing before me with her hands on her hips. My heart beat increased immediately as I anticipated a fight. Here she was, standing majestically before me in the gardens while a manhunt was carried out for her.
I stood up from where I sat slowly, taking care to keep my eyes fixed on my foe. "Mila I..."
"Save your strength!" She snapped. "You are my ticket out of here and you'll do as I bid you or else there won't be much of you left for my brother." She said menacingly.
Her words had no effect on me even as she threatened. I was no coward when it came to combat. I knew that I could at least defend myself against her. "What exactly is your problem with me Mila?" I asked her. "What have I ever done to offend you?"
