ISABELLA'S P.O.V
I was confused to hear Emily address me as 'sister.' What was the woman playing at? I wondered silently. I was ready to believe that she was raving mad, but she smiled as if she could read my thoughts. "You don't believe me, and I do not blame you." She said. "You have every reason not to believe me, but give me a chance to explain, please." She said.
"Give you a chance to explain what?" Ethan asked before I could talk. "Are you a con artist now, too?" Ethan asked with a deep frown on his face.
Emily shook her head. "You think I'll travel all the way to this place just to spread lies?" She asked. "Please give me time alone with Isabella. I need to explain everything to her alone." Emily requested.
