"I haven't seen Axel in months now," Angus replied with a straight face. His response was firm and resolute, but I was no fool. I had seen the expression he displayed when I brought up the topic about Axel. I knew they had met quite recently, too, and he was trying as much as possible to keep this hidden from me.
"You remember our initial agreement, don't you?" I asked with my eyes fixed on him sternly.
"Of course I do. Do you take me to be foolish?" Angus snapped.
