The return of the Icy Queen

The cute meet or maybe not

When Sophia got to her seat, she had another understanding of life, she felt that in the past year, she had been acting childishly and she was so angry at herself. Life wasn't as difficult as she made it. She was happy that she had learnt this lesson that came to her in the form of Sebastian Groves. She can't be believe that as accomodating as she was to everyone, she wasn't even to someone that needed it the most. Sebastian has just transferred to her school, and it was her duty to make him feel at home, in the environment but looks at her attitude towards him. She decided that this time, she was really going to apologize.

Sophia sent a note to Sebastian to meet her at the back of their school laboratory after school. She was going to wait for him. She was happy that she had made peace with herself.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was wondering why Sophia had a change of heart. If it was really true with her, having a competition that clashes. He didn't know that she belonged to other clubs outside of school activities.

He didn't know so many things about her anyway. Not how sparkly, her teeth are, not how misty her hazel eyes are, nor how there her nostrils swells up when she is focused on doing or saying something.

Sebastian found out today that Sophia wasn't as perfect as he thought but the little imperfect things made her perfect anyway.

Sebastian was rushing to her lockers to keep his books, he was done for the day. He was looking around to see if he would find Sophia, to at least, thank her, because he needed the competition for his college applications. His old school didn't have all the activities his new school has, that was why he working hard to keep up with the others. He hasn't been in a situation, where his intellectual was challenged before. He had met someone as tough as Sophia until he got to his new school. And ever since then, he had to really double his efforts in his study and yet, he can barely keep up to her.

With thoughts running his mind, he bumped into someone again, and he felt déjà vu, but it was the person he was looking for, instead it was a sophomore who was hurriedly leaving, because the end of the school day has rang, or so he thought.

He rushed and opened his locker, dropped his books, picked his bag and hurriedly left without looking back. He ran to the gate to see if he can catch a glimpse of Sophia,only to see the glimpse of Andrew's car and the passenger seat occupied.

Seeing as he missed his chance of seeing Sophia before she left, he decided to go home promising himself that he would see her tomorrow.

Sophia ran to the back of the school ‘s laboratory to wait for Sebastian. She wrote a note to him and squeezed it in his locker. If and when Sebastian goes to his locker, he would see the note hanging and then come see her. She is ready to make peace with him because she had made peace with herself.

Sophia had told Andrew in their last class together that he shouldn't wait for her. She told him that she had something to do and would explain to him, when she was done.

Andrew had answered and left with Mia after the school bell has rung. Sophia made Andrew take Mia home in stead of her.

Sophia waited for long as she didn't see Sebastian, she wondered if he even saw the note. She didn't have his number to contact him, to know if he was still around or not. Sophia decided to check the after school clubs, maybe, Sebastian still has meetings but there were no meetings and every where was quiet. She decided that Sebastian must not have gotten her note, so she left nd decide to approach him the next day.

But while, she was going, she saw that there were movement in one of their classes. She went close to see that Sebastian was not there, but a group of freshmen students that were in the tennis club, she asked one of them if they Sebastian, he answered us but Sebastian has left a long time ago.

She said okay and left them alone and got home.

Her mother was worried when she came back, she apologised for making her worried, that it wouldn't happen again. Her mother asked her if she was fine and if she succeeded. She said no and mother encouraged her to seek him tomorrow.

Now, the competition was fast approaching and Sebastian was busy preparing for it. He hasn't had the chance to do anything else because he felt that he has to make Sophia proud, so that she wouldn't regret letting him, represent the school. He knew that past result, had been nothing but the best and such was expected of him.

So, in order to be able to achieve such results, he must work harder than before, he now realises that the shoes left for him to fill was big and he had doubt that he will be able to achieve it.

Sebastian hadn't seen Sophia for a long time, but he promised himself he was going to reward himself by winning the first position, that way he can stand irm and tall beside Sophia.

His mother told him that he could do it, in fact, his parents had been a source of strength for him, ever since, he told them what was involved.

They were happy that the little rivalry going between them has not not escalated instead it was a positive one that their son needed in his life. They were glad that they transferred to that city and their son, to that new school.

Sophia decided to let Sebastian be. As long as she was concerned, she knew what she wanted and what she had to do. She told her friends that they wrote a test and Sebastian has passed her, that was why he asked asked to represent the school. She told them that she had made peace with Sebastian, and though, they are not besties, that he can be considered as friends. That was why, the school openly welcomed Sebastian Groves after he emerged first position in the competition, and officially accepted him into their fold.

Sebastian was happy, he didn't know what happened or how it happened,he just knew that his school days, from then on, would be smooth sailing till graduation.

Mia tried to look for ways to make Andrew separate from Sophia. She told Andrew that Sophia has a soft spot for Sebastian,if not, why would she throw a party for him.

Andrew was the one that threw the party, it just so happend that after Sebastian won the first price for their school, that their school soccer team won the championship that same week, so Sophia thought it would be wise to give the student a safe place to celebrate. But Mia insisted that she did that, just because of Sebastian Groves and she hated that even Andrew wouldn't believe her.

Sebastian wanted to speak to Sophia so badly, but it was as if something was against them meeting each other. Each time, he tried, a force will hold him back. As exams sets in, every student of Winter High was busy preparing for exams. Sophia had other stuffs aside from school activities that take her time and Sebastian couldn't find in him, the time to meet her.

Andrew was the dutiful boyfriend, who has accepted his role in Sophia’s life. He loved Sophia but at times, he feels like Sophia doesn't love him enough, he felt like she doesn't have time for me. The will soon be seniors and he hasn't even kissed his girlfriend before. Sophia has made it clear, that where will no form of intimacy between until college, Andrew has accepted readily.

He was among Sophia's friend that wants to ride on her popularity. She had overheard Mia telling someone that Sophia had a crush on him, he had sworn that he would win her heart, if he could date her, then he would be the number 2 most popular person in school. He felt that people would automatically respect and like him, just because of Sophia.

What he didn't expect was, that he will be the loneliest amongst them. No girl wants anything to do with him because they respect Sophia enough to let themselves be used that way. Mia found a way to get attention from Andrew. She promised Andrew that Sophia will never find out about their relationship. That everything will be kept secret. And so, the beginning of their senior year, Mia winters and Andrew Williams began their secret relationship behind Sophia’s back.
