A BREAKTHROUGH CUT SHORT

Anique arrived in New York and found someone already waiting for her. She was taken to a private resort owned by Angus' father where she was to stay till she got the baby. The resort was extremely beautiful with all types of nature's beauty. Angus continued his life like nothing had happened. People asked him what had happened to Anique but he just ignored them. He studied hard knowing that now he had a family. He used to write letters to Anique but he stopped when he reached University.  He studied and graduated . His father was very proud of him. Back in New York Anique had delivered twins. She requested the doctor to tell Angus' parents that he had given birth to only one child and if they asked for the child he should give out the boy child. She named the girl child Harmony and boy child Hanker. When Anique was still in the hospital he told the doctor to tell  Angus' parents that she only got a boy, this is because she had a bad feeling about it. When Angus' parents heard that she had given birth, they came and took Hanker away. Anique was happy that she had told the doctor to say that she had only one child but also she was is pain because of loosing one of her children. Angus' parents stopped accommodating  Anique in the resort. She was left in the street of New York with her small baby girl, Harmony. She could not allow her baby girl to suffer so she started looking for a job. As  she sat on her last try of getting a job, she was very hopeless. Even when they declined her for the job she was not at all surprised. She went to a stall near by and bought tomatoes. She started selling the tomatoes from door to door  and gradually earned enough money to put up her own stall. Anique and her daughter now leaved a better life than before. Soon she put up her own company and became a well known business lady in New York. Harmony grew up as a humble, quite and polite girl. Even though she got all she wanted, she wanted to earn her own money to buy her staff. She thought that asking for money is stressing her mother. Anique and her daughter loved each other very much. Harmony would tell all her problems to her mother and usually played together. Harmony usually asked about her father but Anique would ignore her and change the topic. Harmony was taken to one of the best schools in New York and often helped her mother during weekends at the factory. Anique's employees loved Harmony's hard work and kindness. She treated  everyone equally and helped everywhere she could. Angus was given one of his father's company where he become the CEO.

 Hanker grew up as a spoiled brat since his grandfather was still  the governor and gave him more than he needed. He grew up to be selfish, self-centered and rude boy. When  other kids were bought new things he made sure that he had the latest things before them so that he could brag to the others. His clothes were bought from all over the world. He was taken for holidays anywhere he wanted . He was transfered  from school to school because of his bad behaviour. Angus was too busy with work to notice what was going on. He never had a close relationship with him since he reminded him of Anique whose Angus parents claimed that she  died just after giving birth. Angus lived knowing that Anique is dead while she lived knowing that Angus had abandoned her.

 A new governor was elected in New York and Anique saw it as a good opportunity to grow her business. She kept trying each opportunity to get to talk to the governor without much success. One ironical thing was that the governor knew that Anique was looking for him but he didn't even decide to look for her. Anique knew how the governor looked like but the governor didn't know how Anique looked like. One of Anique's friends invited her to a party in which the governor was the guest of honour. Anique didn't know about the governor coming so she was not planned for him. Harmony had chosen a gown for her mother which brought  out Anique's figure perfectly. She looked like a princess and the makeup Harmony did on her brought  out her beauty even more. Anique was taken to the party by Yash, their driver. As she came out of the car, that is when they arrived, all eyes were on her. Everybody wanted to know who this beautiful and elegant lady was. Few people knew her as the owner of mortal mol company. As she walked up the stairs total silence fell upon the area and all that was heard was the sound of her high heels. "Anique I'm glad that you came," said her friend" you are so beautiful, I'm even jealous, look at how how everyone's attention is on you." Anique looked at the people, smiled and then turned back to her friend ." Mae where are the washrooms am very pressed? Mae directed her to the washrooms then headed back to the door to welcome other guests.

 As Anique was coming out of the washroom, her handkerchief fell down. As she was picking it she saw another hand towards it. She raised her head only to find the governor's eyes looking at her. She quickly stood up and the Governor picked the handkerchief for her and handed it to her. They stared at each other for sometime then Mae appeared." Governor  I see you have met my friend." Yes I have and I think she looks pretty." Anique smiled and was about to walk away when the Governor grabbed her hand, "please dance with me with me." Mae begged  Anique to agree as they slowly walked to the dance floor. When the Governor held Anique's waist it brought back memories of Angus . Anique remembered how they used to dance at the beach. " Is anything wrong ?"the governor asked. Anique was startled. She just shock her head in response and smiled. As they they were dancing Anique wondered if it was the right time to talk about the job proposal that she had and at the same time the gorvernor was thinking of how he would get to know Anique better. He had not yet known that the lady he was dancing with is Anique. Suddenly Mae brought Anique's phone which was ringing and gave it to her, it was harmony calling. Harmony reported that one of the farmers have reported that half of the farm has been attacked by weaver birds and all the tomatoes eaten up. Anique took off her shoes and quickly ran out of the party to her car and was taken straight to the farm. Was this the start of bad luck for Anique and Harmony?
