It was early morning, and Lindsay was wrapped in a blanket, sitting on her front porch. She had awoken with a start earlier because of a nightmare she could not remember. She hoped that the cold and silence outside would help her to calm down, which, to her relief, it had. She had no idea how long she had been there when she heard the door open.
