Chapter Thirty-eight
I was glad as Lucas was responding very quickly to treatment.
The doctor came over to check him up as usual.
When he was done checking his body he instructed me on what to do to take care of him before leaving.
Lucas held my hands and stopped me from going. “Thank you Diana…for everything”, he muttered.
“You are welcome”, I voiced out. My heart bubbling with excitement.
Lucas has done more than this for me. I was glad to be of help to him.
“I am glad to help Lucas”, I replied.
He averted his gaze towards me. “I need you to stop calling me Lucas and would love you to call me babe”,
