Chapter Thirty-one
He left me alone but the kiss we had still lingered in my mind.
What was I thinking when I decided to kiss him
I use my hand to cover the palm of my face.
I breathe deeply comforting myself that he didn't find it offensive.
I checked my time, it was pretty late. I wondered what the emergency was that he had to go to.
I laid down to rest when sleep took me.
The next day he came back and informed me of his trip to London.
“Is everything okay?”, I asked.
“No…I will inform you about it when I get back”,
As soon as he left, silence engulfed the whole place. I found my way downstairs and sat down to eat before heading back to my business place.
