I reached down and rubbed the bottom of my leg, pretending that I’d hurt it badly. “Dammit.” “Quit being a f*****g baby,” he said and glared at me. “At least you weren’t stabbed by some b***h, like I was.” Ignoring the comment, I looked up at him. “I don’t think I can walk on it.”
